WWE NXT Rumors: Many call-ups and new faces for NXT expected soon

About to take over the main roster?

As of July 19th, WWE’s main roster will again be separated into two brands, RAW and SmackDown. Like RAW, WWE will also air SmackDown live in Tuesdays. With the division of the brands, more wrestlers will be needed to fill up the roster for the two shows.

  • Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that many wrestlers from NXT will be present in the main roster before the WWE draft. So we should expect plenty of call-ups in the upcoming weeks.
  • Those concerned that this may prove fatal for NXT with many of its top stars leaving for the main shows, fret not. Cagesideseats.com reports that, WWE has decided to fill the void in NXT with multiple new talents.
  • It is expected that NXT will have some big debuts again soon. Former TNA World Heavyweight Champions Bobby Roode and Eric Young will be staying in NXT for the time being and should become regulars for the show.

Earlier, it was rumored that the entire concept of NXT will be coming to an end after NXT Takeover : The End. Rumors hinted that RAW, will have an hour’s time for NXT stars. But these rumors were nullified when Triple H announced the date of NXT Takeover : Brooklyn, which will be taking place in August 2016.

An unexpected name just challenged Randy Orton RIGHT HERE.
