Negai no Astro chapter 3, titled Fight Between Brothers, delves deeper into how the world and the Yotsurugi family changed after the bizarre meteor shower. The protagonist is portrayed as someone who prefers to talk it out and throw in a few punches to resolve conflicts, a typical trait of shounen heroes. However, the effectiveness of this approach is still uncertain.

In the last issue of Ken Wakui's manga Astro Royale in English, the focus was on Hibaru and Terasu, who are targeted by the Hawk Faction under the command of their brother Shio. Shio’s minions, who had gained new abilities from the meteor explosion, withdrew after Hibaru defeated one of them with a remarkably powerful punch.

In Negai no Astro chapter 3, Hibaru is informed by Ginji, his late father's advisor who was previously held captive by the Hawk Faction, about a revolt that occurred while Hibaru was unconscious. The instigator of this rebellion was Shio, and now the remaining siblings who were supporting the Yotsurugi Family have their own bases. They all dislike the notion of Terasu leading the organization and each sibling aspires to claim the title of "boss" for themselves.

Following that, Terasu requests the armory key from Ginji as he knows that the weapons could give them some advantage against the other factions, which have hundreds of members. However, this unsettles Hibaru, who cannot imagine the thought of shooting his siblings. Terasu, on the other hand, is adamant that if Hibaru lacks the guts to do it, he will step in.

In Negai no Astro chapter 3, Hibaru brings Terasu to the training room where all the siblings were trained by Kongo. Here, he challenges Terasu to a settlement via throwdown, following the code of the Yotsurugi Family. As Ginji explains, throwdowns are all-out, man-to-man fistfights where outsiders are not allowed to interfere.

As the battle commences, Hibaru charges at Terasu, aiming to knock him out with a punch. However, Terasu defends himself with his Astro shield, Yata no Kagami, a power he acquired by wishing to protect the Yotsurugi Family during the meteor shower. As Terasu gains the upper hand, he reveals that a war is imminent in Tokyo and they need weapons to gain control. He is prepared to fight this battle alone if necessary.

However, Hibaru explains that this is not a life-or-death situation, but merely a sibling rivalry that should not be exaggerated. He expresses his love for Shio, Terasu, and all their other siblings, and resolves to face each one of them to persuade them to unite with him. Terasu seems convinced by Hibaru's words and agrees to join him.

Later, in Negai no Astro chapter 3, Terasu is seen driving Hibaru to Ikebukuro on a motorcycle. Hibaru has selected Kuran, whom he regards as a real man among men, as the one he wishes to persuade first. Kuran was formerly the ruthless head of the Yotsurugi family's Ikebukuro division. He is Kongo's tenth adopted son who rose through the ranks by his skills.

In the previous chapter, Hibaru woke up after two weeks only to find that the Hawk faction, the most dominant group in the Yotsurugi family, had taken over the headquarters. They had hoarded all resources and were selling them on the black market, leaving ordinary people helpless.

Hibaru stormed into the headquarters only to be attacked by the Hawk faction members who had also received new powers. One member could make blades appear on his arm while another could conjure a steel suit. Hibaru unleashed a new punch attack, the Bare-Handed Magnum Blast, and sent the steel-suited guy flying.

Seeing Hibaru's Astro, the remaining Hawk Faction members retreated, allowing the commoners to take what they needed from the supplies.
