Daishen Nix is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G League as of May 2025. He grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and attended Trinity International in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nix averaged 19.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game as a junior in high school. He led his high school team to its second straight National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) Division I title. Nix was also named the NCSAA Player of the Year and all-time leader in points, rebounds, and assists on his team during his junior year. Additionally, he earned a McDonald's All-American selection in 2020. Greg Lockridge was his high school coach and legal guardian after Nix's grandfather passed away, as per CBS Sports.

Nix played college basketball for UCLA over offers from Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, and Maryland on August 20, 2019, and signed a National Letter of Intent on November 13, 2019. But later, Nix announced his decision to decommit from UCLA on April 28, 2020, and bypass college eligibility to join the NBA G League Ignite, a developmental team affiliated with the NBA G League. He was a five-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports. Nix remained undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft and joined the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2021 NBA Summer League. He played two seasons with the 76ers before joining the Houston Rockets. In the 2024-25 NBA season, Nix only played three games. On January 11, 2025, he joined the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and as of May 28, 2025, he has appeared in 24 games in the 2024-25 NBA G League season, averaging 15.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.
