Daishen Nix is an American professional basketball player who plays point guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA and the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League as of December 2024. He grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and attended Trinity International in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nix averaged 19.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game as a junior in high school. He led his high school team to its second straight National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) Division I title. He was named the NCSAA Player of the Year and all-time leader in points, rebounds, and assists in his team during his junior year. Additionally, he earned a McDonald's All-American selection in 2020. According to CBS Sports, Greg Lockridge was his high school coach and legal guardian after Nix's grandfather passed away.

Nix committed to play college basketball for UCLA over offers from Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, and Maryland on August 20, 2019, and signed a National Letter of Intent on November 13, 2019. But later Nix announced his decision to decommit from UCLA on April 28, 2020, and bypass college eligibility to join the NBA G League Ignite, a developmental team affiliated with the NBA G League. He was a five-star-rated recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports. Nix remained undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft and joined the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2021 NBA Summer League. He also played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the 2021-2022 season in the NBA G League.
