How tall is Evan Mobley?

With only three seasons in the NBA, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley has become one of the best young players in the game. Growing up alongside his brother and future Cavaliers’ teammate Isaiah, Mobley seemed reluctant to play basketball initially. But when he realized that his height was something he had no control over, he adapted to the sport and quickly got better at it. Before Mobley began to dominate the competition at Rancho Christian School, he struggled to score in double digits but showed his skills on the defensive end. In his junior season, Mobley averaged a deserving 19.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 4.7 blocks per game which culminated in him receiving the Gatorade Player of the Year award.

In his senior season, Mobley put up nearly twenty-one points, 12.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and an unreal 5.2 blocks a game. To the shock of very few, Mobley again earned the Gatorade POY award, becoming one of only two players to achieve the feat. In August 2019, Mobley announced his commitment to the University of South Carolina (USC) and played just one season before declaring for the 2021 NBA draft wherein he was selected as the third overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
