He was born in Sagarejo, Kakheti, Georgia, and played three years in the Georgian Under-16 League. In the 2014-15 season, he averaged 23.1 points and 16.6 rebounds per game. Bitadze started his professional basketball career at the age of 16 when he joined VITA Tbilisi to play in the 2015-16 VTB United League.
