Grayson Allen is a veteran shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz with the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. He has had previous stints with the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks and is presently playing for the Suns. In his earlier life, he played varsity basketball for the Providence School Stallions at the Providence School of Jacksonville.


In the 2022/23 season, Allen played 72 games with the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He shot 44.0% from the field, including 39.9% from the three-point range. This offseason, he was traded to the Phoenix Suns in a three-team trade deal in exchange for Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.

Allen attended Providence School of Jacksonville in Florida and played varsity basketball for the Providence School Stallions. He won a state championship in 2013 and graduated from the school in 2014. On his graduation, he was honored as a MacDonald’s All-American. Furthermore, he was the winner of the MacDonald’s All-American Slam Dunk Contest, by beating Jahlil Okafor, who later was his teammate at Duke University.
