Jahmir Young is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA and the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League, as of May 2025. He was born on October 7, 2000, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall and 185 pounds and started playing basketball at DeMatha Catholic High School. He averaged 11.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists per game and contributed to the team’s victory in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, as per his college roster.

Young started his collegiate career at the University of Charlotte, where he immediately began to make his mark. During his second and third years, he was named to the First Team All-Conference USA due to his scoring, passing, and defensive skills. In search of more challenges, Young moved to the University of Maryland for his final year.
