James Edward Harden Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers. Harden plays the position of the shooting guard or point guard in the NBA. Harden is widely regarded as one of the most deadly and efficient offensive players in NBA history.

Harden played collegiate basketball for Arizona State and earned Pac-10 Player of the Year and All-American status. He was drafted in 2009 as the 3rd overall pick in the first round by the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was placed alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. OKC’s failure to provide Harden with a max contract saw him leave the organization and sign with the Houston Rockets.
