Jock Landale

Jock Landale is a skilled Australian basketball athlete who plays for the Houston Rockets in the NBA. Jock played college basketball for Saint Mary’s and was a talented Center with an imposing frame. Though he would have been a great addition to the NBA, he went undrafted in 2018 but kept his hopes up and decided to play overseas. Jock began his professional career in the ABA League by playing for Partizan Belgrade.

Jock later signed and played one year with Zalgiris Kaunas in the EuroLeague before going back to Australia. He did not waste much time in the contractual agreement and began playing for his home team Melbourne United. He played 35 games representing Melbourne and averaged 16.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 0.6 steals, and 1.5 rebounds per game. He was certainly impressive and seemed to take advantage of every opportunity given.

Jock Landale eventually got to play in the NBA after being signed by the San Antonio Spurs. Spurs later waived Jock to the Phoenix Suns and he continued playing his game regardless of which Jersey he wore.

Throughout his five-year professional career, Jock Landale has productively utilized his physical attributes to find decent success and it has been a true blessing for the Aussie.

Jock Landale Height

Jock Landale stands 6 feet 11 inches tall. Height has always played a crucial importance in the success of many legendary forwards and Centers and today’s NBA big men are no different. Landale checks every box of being a Basketball big man; size, strength, long reach, athleticism, and basketball IQ.

Jock Landale Weight

Jock Landale weighs 256 lbs (116 kg). Jock has impressive strength and agility and when the opportunity calls for, he doesn’t hesitate on the defensive end. As such, Landale's weight undoubtedly complements his stature by providing the stability and power necessary for engaging in physically demanding efforts under the basket.

Jock Landale Wingspan

Jock's wingspan stretches 7 feet 2 inches in length. Players that possess seven feet plus in wingspan length are usually highly efficient with rejections on most offensive plays and if we add deflection to their skill set, they become even more of a threat. This aspect of gameplay is what made Jock a headache for opponents as he averaged 0.4 steals and one block per game in his senior year of college (2017-18).

Jock Landale Shoe Size

As there isn’t reliable information available online that would indicate or reveal Landale’s shoe size, we can only make assumptions. Based on Jock’s height, we can safely assume that he prefers between size 15 and 18 (U.S.) shoes. Shoes aren’t just footwears but partners that help players manage their lower body fatigue around the knee and heel region. Jock prominently wears Nike shoes.
