Kyle Kuzma Injury History

The American forward from Michigan, U.S. was predominantly known for his defensive skills but with the Lakers, he showed his offensive potential also and was a spot-up shooter for the team. Thus, proved his versatility with Washington.

After the 2022-23 offseason, Kuzma’s contract with the Wizards is scheduled to end and will be an unrestricted free agent. Initially, the forward declined the $13 million player option. Kuzma is one the most notable players in the 2023 free agency and would expect a bigger deal than this.

Recently, Wizards and Kuzma agreed on a final agreement worth $102 million for four years.

The upcoming seasons will be important for the forward, as he doesn't hold any accomplishments for a longer period, the last being the NBA trophy with the Lakers in 2020.

He will be earning an average salary of $25.5 million for the next three years with the Washington Wizards. The cost of this deal will be known in the near future.

The Utah Utes alum was the first-round pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA draft. In his first year, he was named the NBA All-Rookie First Team and won a championship in 2020.

Kuzma with the left foot sprain

Kuzma, 27, severely injured his left foot with a sprain. His ligaments were torn and stretched. After the games, Wizards informed Kuzma will not be available for the next few games.

The injury took place in the first quarter (11th minute). After scoring five points, two assists and a 0-of-6 shooting the forward left the game.
