It would be safe to say that Karri's sacrifices and unwavering support served as a constant reminder to Kyle that with hard work and perseverance, anything was possible. While Kyle met his father only once as an infant, he always considered Larry Smith - Kyle Kuzma's stepfather a father figure.


He also played a crucial role in his upbringing and development as both a person and a basketball player. Larry entered Kyle's life at a young age and supported Kyle’s passion for the sport.


Kyle Kuzma’s success story

With a humble background, Kyle raised to Basketball stardom with his hard work and skill sets. Drafted as 27th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, Kuzma was integral part of Los Angeles Lakers’ title winning run in 2020.


In the regular season, he remained their third best option in offense, behind superstars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, while in the playoffs, he played a vital role on the defensive front also. The 2020 NBA champion Kuzma earned a spot in the NBA’s All-Rookie first team.


While finding a new home at Washington Wizards, Kyle Kuzma’s productions on the court took further push. Finishing the recent 2023 regular season with his career best performance he is now available in the free agency. Kuzma finished the season with 21.2 points average with 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
