Matas Arvidas Buzelis, a standout young basketball talent, played for the NBA G League's Ignite team. Standing at 6 feet 10 inches, he is one of the top prospects for the 2024 NBA Draft. During the 2023-24 season, Buzelis showcased his skills by averaging 14.3 points, 2.0 assists, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game across 26 matches for NBA G League Ignite.

Buzelis’s father, Aidas Buzelis, played professional basketball in the Lithuanian Basketball League between 1993 and 1999. Buzelis's mother, Kristina Jankauskaitė of Lithuanian ethnicity, was a standout player for the Lithuanian youth basketball national teams. She was considered one of the most promising basketball talents of her generation. He was the top breaststroke swimmer among under-10 and under-12 swimmers in the state of Illinois.
