Pelle Larsson was born in Nacka, Sweden in the year 2001. He is a Swedish college basketball player. He plays college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats and is considered to be a prospect in the 2024 NBA draft. Larsson’s father, Christian was a basketball player in the Swedish men’s basketball team. It was under his influence that Larsson started off his journey in basketball. Starting to play for local clubs in Sweden, he quickly made his way up to be recognized in the Swedish Basketball League.

Larsson moved to the United /States in 2020 to play college basketball for the University of Utah. As a freshman, he was named a starter and put up impressive numbers including 50% 3-point accuracy and converted over 88% of his free throws. Larsson played one year at the University of Utah before transferring to the University of Arizona.

With the Arizona Wildcats, Larsson saw continued success, earning multiple accolades such as Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year. He showed a steady improvement in numbers as he played for the Wildcats. Larsson initially declared for the NBA draft in 2023 but decided to return to the Wildcats for another year.

Larsson has also made an impact on the international basketball scene, representing Sweden on various accounts. Amongst these are the 2023 FIBA World Cup qualifiers. As an NBA prospect, Larsson is known to be an efficient shooter with a high basketball IQ.
