Tyrese Haliburton is a point guard/shooting guard for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was first selected by the Sacramento Kings as the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NBA draft. He made his NBA debut in the Kings' win over the Denver Nuggets on December 23, 2020. On February 8, 2022, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers.

Haliburton attended Iowa State University, where he played for the Iowa State Cyclones from 2018 to 2020. He was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team in 2019 and was also named to both the Academic All-Big 12 First Team and All-Big 12 Second Team in 2020. He averaged 10.1 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.4 rebounds over the course of his college career, as per reports.
