He also became an All-Star later in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He was especially instrumental for the Celtics in the 2024 season, as the team looked to have a solid season and possible Championship aspirations. He averaged 23.0 points, 3.6 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game in the 2024 regular season and also kept it up in the 2024 playoffs, scoring 23.9 points, 3.3 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game, leading the Celtics to an NBA Championship, which was his first championship win. He was also named as the NBA Finals MVP for his contributions to the Championship run.
