He was drafted as the 33rd overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2018 NBA Draft. He scored 3 points and 1 rebound in his NBA debut against the Phoenix Suns. Brunson signed a four-year contract worth $104 million with the New York Knicks in 2022.
