Aireontae Ersery is an American offensive lineman who played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers from 2020 to 2024. Aireontae Ersery began his football journey at Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Missouri. As a three-star recruit in the Class of 2020, he participated in AAU basketball, wrestling, and track and field events like shot put and discus, besides football. He was ranked as the No. 967 recruit by 247Sports and No. 928 by On3.
After redshirting his freshman year, Ersery played only two games during his first two seasons with the Golden Gophers. However, he earned the starting left tackle position as a redshirt sophomore in 2022. He was named an AP First-Team All-Big Ten selection in 2023. In the 2023 season, Ersery started all 13 games at left tackle and allowed only two sacks and 15 total pressures across 841 snaps. His performance earned him recognition as a Second-Team All-Big Ten selection, following an Honorable Mention in 2022. Ersery's contributions have not only helped the Gophers achieve impressive rushing statistics, but he was also named Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2024. Last season, Ersery saw action in 12 games and declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, concluding his five-year stint with the Golden Gophers.
