Andrew Mukuba is a football safety who played his senior year of college football with the Texas Longhorns in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 2024. Hailing from Austin, Texas, United States, his schooling began at LBJ Early College High School. During his high school career, Andrew Mukuba earned the District Offensive Player of the Year honor. Moreover, he was also selected to be the fifth-best safety in the United States.

Andrew Mukuba began his collegiate journey with the Clemson Tigers of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in 2021. He was honoured with the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year award as well as the Freshman All-American honor in his freshman year. In 2023, he participated in the Gator Bowl game. After the end of the season, he entered the transfer portal and joined the Texas Longhorns for his final season. In the 2024 season, Mukumba was given the Jim Thorpe Award's National Defensive Back of the Week honor. Last season, as a senior, Mukuba recorded a career-high 69 total tackles with five interceptions (via ESPN).
