Ashton Jeanty is an American football running back who played college football for the Boise State Broncos. He was born on December 2, 2003, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Jeanty attended Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas, to complete his schooling. There, he played as a running back, wide receiver, outside linebacker, and defensive end.

In his senior year, Ashton Jeanty played 12 games and recorded 1,843 yards on 229 carries and 810 yards on 41 receptions. He also scored 41 touchdowns, including 31 rushing and 10 receiving. He was rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports and a three-star recruit by ESPN. Jeanty had offers from Dartmouth, Tulsa, New Mexico, North Texas, Pennsylvania, Air Force, Sam Houston, Louisiana, Kansas, and Tulane before deciding to join the Boise State Broncos, according to 247Sports.

Ashton Jeanty played college football for the Boise State Broncos from 2022 to 2024. He joined the University as a true freshman in 2022. During his freshman year, Jeanty appeared in all 14 games, including two starts. He had a total of 821 yards rushing on 156 carries, which was ranked second among all Broncos. He added 157 yards receiving on 14 receptions and was named to the College Football News Freshman All-Bowl Team.

In his sophomore year, Jeanty played 12 games, including 10 starts. He had 1,916 yards, including 569 receiving and 1,347 rushing yards. He also became the first-ever top-level college football player since 2019 to register 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. Jeanty was named to the First-Team All-America of College Football, ESPN, USA Today, and the Second-Team by the Action Network and Associated Press. Overall in his college career, Jeanty has played 40 games, where he made 750 rushing attempts for 4,769 yards. He amassed 862 yards on the receiving end with 80 receptions, as per Sports Reference.
