The Baltimore Ravens made Malaki Starks their 27th overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Malaki Starks is a defensive back and played the 2024 season as a junior for the Georgia Bulldogs football team. Malaki Starks joined Georgia as a freshman in 2022 and played in 14 of 15 games. He was ranked third on the team with 68 tackles and led the team with the most pass breakups with seven. He also registered two interceptions and a team-high 10 tackles in a single game against Tennessee. During the 2023 season, Starks started in all games, recording 52 tackles, three interceptions, and seven pass breakups. He also made eight tackles in the SEC Championship Game and an interception in the Orange Bowl game.

In 2024, Starks started all 13 games and was the team leader with 77 total tackles, registering four tackles for loss, and intercepted a pass against Clemson. He also posted a career-best of 10 tackles against Georgia Tech. Starks received All-America and All-SEC recognition several times and was either a national defensive award finalist or a semifinalist every season.
