Malaki Starks is an American football safety who is on the roster of the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. He played his junior year of college football with the Georgia Bulldogs in 2024. His journey in football started at Jefferson High School, where he led them to a 14-1 record and the GHSA Class 4A title game. He also participated in track and field and led the Dragons to the 4A state championship in 2019. During his prep career, Starks recorded 81 career tackles and nine interceptions while rushing for 2,384 yards for 34 touchdowns. Following his high school career, ESPN rated him the No.2 prospect in the state of Georgia with a five-star rating.
Malaki Starks committed to the Georgia Bulldogs in October 2021, marking the beginning of his collegiate journey. He made an instant impact in his freshman season and saw action in 14 games. Starks was a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award and finished the year with 68 combo tackles. As a sophomore, Starks played in all 14 games and tallied 52 tackles throughout the season. Last season, he recorded a career-high 77 tackles and started in all 14 games (via Sports Reference). Following his junior campaign, Starks decided to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, as per reports.
