Ricky White III is a Wide Receiver and played the 2024 season as a senior for the UNLV Rebels. He hails from Marietta, Georgia, and attended Marietta High School. White began his college career at Michigan State, where he played in four games as a true freshman in 2020. He was a redshirt during the 2021 season and didn't play a single game.
In 2022, he transferred to UNLV and played in all 12 games, accumulating 51 catches for 619 yards and four touchdowns. His UNLV debut consisted of 182 yards and two touchdowns against Idaho State. White III had a breakout season in 2023 with 88 receptions for 1,483 yards, tying the school single-season receptions record and the receiving yard record. He had seven 100-yard games during the 2023 season, of which five were in a row. He added 97 yards and a touchdown in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. He was named to the All-America and the All-Mountain West first teams. White also registered eight 100-yard games at UNLV and entered the 2024 season as the program's all-time top-10 player with 194 career receiving yards.
Ricky White III attended Marietta High School and graduated in 2020 after leading the team to the Georgia Class 7A state championship in 2019. As a senior, he collected 97 catches for 1,319 yards and 16 touchdowns with a 13-2 record. During the state championship game against Lowndes, he made five receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. Before transferring to Marietta, White played for Wheeler High School, where he caught 55 passes for 1,066 yards and 13 touchdowns in his junior year. He was named to the all-region 2-7A first team and was placed on the Marietta Daily Journal All-County First Team in 2018 and 2019. Apart from football, White also played basketball in high school.
