Tyler Warren is a tight end who played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions as of 2025. Warren attended Atlee High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball. During his junior year, he threw for 876 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for 554 yards and seven touchdowns. In his senior year, he passed for 1,149 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding another 677 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns to his record. Initially committed to Virginia Tech, Tyler Warren flipped his commitment and chose to play for Penn State. He graduated in Fall 2023 with a bachelor's degree in advertising/public relations and is pursuing a second degree in telecommunications, according to his official roster.

Tyler Warren's college career began with a redshirt season in 2020. In his redshirt freshman year in 2021, he appeared in two games, contributing five receptions for 61 yards and one touchdown alongside two rushing touchdowns. In his sophomore season, he recorded 10 receptions for 123 yards and three touchdowns. He finished the season with 34 receptions for 422 yards and seven touchdowns, tying him for third among Penn State tight ends in single-season touchdown receptions. Notably, he also set a bowl record for tight ends at Penn State with 127 receiving yards against Ole Miss in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. In 2024, as a senior, Warren set the record in Penn State's history after recording 104 receptions in the season. Earlier this year, Warren declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after receiving the John Mackey Award as the country's top tight end.
