Following a victory over LSU in the SEC Championship, the undefeated Bulldogs secured their spot in the College Football Playoff as the top seed. In the Peach Bowl semi-final clash against Ohio State, in Brock Bowers's college team he played a crucial role, catching four passes for 64 yards. Bowers made a crucial catch on fourth down during a key touchdown drive in the final quarter. This helped Georgia secure a narrow 42–41 win against Ohio State and advance to the national championship game.


Bowers continued to shine in the championship showdown, making a season-high seven receptions for 152 yards and securing a touchdown on his final catch of the year. His contributions were instrumental in Georgia's dominant 65–7 victory over TCU in the national championship game, marking their second consecutive national title win and achieving the largest margin of victory in championship history.
