New Zealand continued their brilliant fight-back on the 4th day of the Test match, as captain Brendon McCullum and Watling were involved in a 300-plus partnership stand to end any hopes that India had of winning their maiden match of 2014.

While, McCullum scored his second successive double century, Watling also fought brilliantly scoring a century, as they mounted an almost unassailable lead of 325 runs. The fight-back got on the nerves of the Indians as they resorted to ‘abuse’ and ‘taunts’ instead of putting in a special effort.

Ishant Sharma, while walking back to his mark after bowling to McCullum was heard abusing, as the stump microphone picked up his abusive jibe.

Captain cool MS Dhoni was also heard taunting left-arm spinner Jadeja, as Dhoni vented out his frustration at Jadeja for bowling the wrong line.

Dhoni was heard saying: “Pujara ko wahan taali bajane ke liye nahin rakha (I haven’t placed Pujara there to clap),” urging Jadeja to bowl the planned line and length.

India have so far not managed to win even a single game in this calendar year, after having lost the 1st Test and being hammered 4-0 in the ODI series.
