Townsville (Australia), Aug 20 – Indian colts defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by one wicket to enter the semifinals of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup here Monday.

India, chasing a paltry 136, ended at 137 for nine in 48 overs.

Baba Aparajith scored a fighting fifty while southpaw Vijay Zol contributed 36 to the total.

Opener – and skipper – Babar Azam was the top-scorer in the Pakistan innings, striking a gritty 50.
