Kolkata, Nov 12 (IANS) Notwithstanding the unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing One-Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka, India's skipper Virat Kohli says his side would continue to be ruthless and try to win every game to keep up the momentum ahead of next year's World Cup.

Kohli said the Indian team is also looking at getting the right combination and staying focused as it gears up to take on Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens here on the morrow.

"No, there is no difficulty in motivating anyone. In the beginning, we said we will be ruthless and try to win every game. We want to keep to that. Some kind of intensity is needed to win consistently. It creates good habits and that is important with the World Cup round the corner," he said at captain's customary match-eve media meet.

"We can't be complacent. That is the culture we are looking at with big tournaments round the corner."

Asked about the areas the team would stress upon in the last two games of the series against Sri Lanka, Kohli said, "The only area we are looking at is getting the combination right. It is important to stay focused all the time. For instance, while bowling, even during the end overs, we are looking at picking wickets rather than saving runs."

He said the team management also wanted to keep the players in a positive frame of mind.

"We are now winning. But there will be a time when we won't be winning and won't get the right results. It's important that the guys feel comfortable even when we aren't winning."
