Jose admits United's Bale pursuit was over before it started

Speaking to BT Sport after their UEFA Super Cup defeat, United manager Jose Mourinho opened up about the Gareth Bale rumours.

"Clearly the club wants him, the manager wants him and he wants the club, so for me it's game over - even before it started. It's game over clearly because everybody knows he is going to stay."

Manchester United to bid for Danny Rose?

Manchester United have reportedly re-ignited their interest in Danny Rose after the defender made excellent progress in his comeback from injury.

The player is expected to make a comeback by the end of this month and Mourinho wants Rose to be his first choice left-back.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to play for United again

It is believed that Zlatan has told Mourinho that he wants to play for the Red Devils once he recovers from his injury.

The 36-year-old, who was set to sign a new contract before suffering a horrific injury, is expected to return to action by December.
