After making 6 appearances in the Premier League until now, Arsenal‘s latest addition to their squad, Mesut Ozil has said that he considers the Premier League to be his greatest challenge yet.

In an interview, Mesut said, “For me, personally, the Premier League is the strongest league. It is well-balanced. You have many top clubs.

“I think it is a nice experience to play abroad. We get to learn a new culture, a new language. You improve a lot as a player.

“That is why I am happy to play in England. I really think this league will suit me well.”

Not many were expecting to see the former Real Madrid player in an Arsenal jersey this season, but a £42.5m on Transfer Deadline Day saw the playmaker join the Gunners flanks – a move that surprised many of his former Real Madrid team-mates.

“First of all, I had three wonderful years at Madrid. I’m now at Arsenal and very happy.

“If you see my goals and assists at Madrid and how many matches I played there, then you can also see how professional I am.

“I don’t want to say anymore.”

Mesut’s signing has given Arsenal a huge boost. They’ve had their best start to the Premier League in six years and now sit comfortably at the top of the league table until the international break concludes.
