West Ham United are looking to sign Southampton’s striker Rickie Lambert in January, according to The Independent.
West Ham boss, Sam Allardyce is in search of quality strikers to strengthen his upfront. Club record signing Andy Carroll is set to return by January. Lambert’s induction would certainly enrich the club’s strike force.
Rickie Lambert is currently out of favour at Southampton after the arrival of Dani Osvaldo. This has encouraged Allardyce to make a move for the striker.

The Southampton striker has four goals so far this season and is under contract at the club until 2016.
