San Jose Earthquakes v Los Angeles Galaxy
San Jose have lost nine times from 13 games this season

San Jose Earthquakes host Orlando City at PayPal Park on Saturday for a clash in MLS, looking for only their fourth win of the season.

It has been a miserable start to the 2024 campaign for San Jose, who have lost nine times from their opening 13 games.

With only 10 points in the bag, Luchi Gonzalez's side are rock bottom in 14th place in the Western Conference table.

Orlando City haven't started with a bang either, accruing only three points more than San Jose to sit in 11th position in the Eastern Conference standings.

Like San Jose, the Lions have won just thrice in the league so far.

San Jose Earthquakes vs Orlando City Head-To-Head

There have been six clashes between the sides in the past, exactly half of which have ended in draws. San Jose have beaten Orlando City just once before, a 3-0 victory at home in September 2019.

On either side of those wins, were two defeats in Orlando: 3-2 in April 2018 and 5-0 in June 2021. However, San Jose have never lost a home game to Orlando City in three previous meetings at PayPal Park.
