Tottenham winger Gareth Bale‘s highly anticipated move to Real Madrid is all but done, if reports from popular radio station cope.es are to believed.

The station was the very first to disclose the news of Thiago Alcantara’s big money move to Bayern Munich, and also nailed Isco and Diego Lopez’s moves to Real Madrid.

The station reported that Real Madrid were set to complete Gareth Bale’s transfer for €99M (£85M), and it was to be announced on Friday so as to not interfere with Trofeo Bernabeu festivities, which also features a tribute to veteran footballer and Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzales.

Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague also confirmed the news of Bale’s arrival as he posted the following tweet on his twitter page.

Bale was instrumental in Tottenham’s success last season, which saw the club finish in an impressive 5th position. The Welshman has been one of Europe’s hottest properties, and will be a solid addition to Madrid’s attack.
