Remember when Real Madrid beat Sevilla 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga on 20 March? This particular fan will remember it forever.
The match saw the return of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo (aka BBC) return to the starting lineup for the first time in two months. And all three players got on the scoresheet.
However, before Ronaldo scored his goal, he did get the chance to score one from the penalty spot. And Canadian tourist and YouTube user Sarah Arcand had a ticket right behind the goal to watch one of the greatest footballers in history put it away.

But things did not quite turn out well for Sarah. We all know what happened next. Ronaldo stepped up and fired over the bar as Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico dived to his right and looked up in relief to see it sail into the crowd.
The ball curled over the bar and headed straight for Sarah. The ball made impact and she ended up dropping the camera (or dropping to her knees) and that’s when the recording ends.
The Bernabeu groaned as one. While Ronaldo’s ego may have taken a beating, poor Sarah took a real one and, according to her description on the video, got a ‘black eye’.
Lucky enough to visit from canada and see Real Madrid vs Sevilla. Not sure that Cristiano Rinaldo meant to welcome me with a black eye but this Canadian football fan will take the penalty kick to the face as an excellent memory from one of the best.

We sincerely hope Sarah has recovered and will still be smiling after the 4-0 result. Who knows, maybe his apology after scoring later on was directed at her.
