Why Manchester United should not look for a new manager
Manchester United have had a positive change since the hiring of their legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season as interim manager. He's revolutionised the team completely and has managed 7 wins in a row. Due to this upturn in form, we look at why he should be hired as the new permanent manager.
#1 New team spirit
After Mourinho left the club, he left the team demotivated and this was a big job for Ole to rectify. However, he has done this superbly. Mourinho struggled with players like Pogba but Solskjaer has had no troubles at all and improved the performances of Pogba as well as others like Martial and Rashford. This motivation has led to a new found team spirit and that has replicated on the pitch.
#2 United are playing attacking football
The type of football the Manchester United are playing is what the fans have been longing for since the departure of legendary manager Sir Alex in 2012. The fans have always accused the managers of treating them to a boring brand of football not worth the money they pay for in tickets. The arrival of the Norwegian has produced lots of goals and massively improved the attacking output.
#3 Solskjaer wants to stay and the fans also want him to stay
Solskjaer is a club legend and achieved great things in his time at the club. This looks to be replicating onto the pitch as he has the knowledge about the club but he also shares the passion that the fans possess. This passion has inspired the club on this upturn of form and now makes Solskjaer's United realistic contenders for the Champions League spaces that the fans and the club are craving for. Since he arrived, The Red Devils have clawed their way back in the race for top 4; they are currently level on points with Arsenal and just 3 points behind Chelsea.
