It has been reported that Destiny’s updated Crota's End raid, which added a Hard Mode, went up live on January 21. According to stats from Bungie, in 24 hours, 557,354 raids has been launched, with 3,344,124 players taking part. These numbers represent the single largest event launch in Destiny's history, which has "more than double the population of the very first run on Atheon," as stated by Bungie.
Here, Fire team One and Done have been the first to complete the new raid, besting Crota in just under 27 minutes. And the next team to complete the raid was WRECKnation, this team led by, leader Ari within just 39 minutes.
"It’s always a little tense when a raid goes live, If we get that right, you get a race, it’s a riot waiting to happen”, stated Bungie after it had an issue with a hotfix in anticipation of the raid going live. But, thankfully everything was fine and went according to plan.
