Football fans around the world will get a taste of what PES 2016 feels like, with developer Konami set to release the game’s demo version next week, just in time for the new season. The early release is probably a strategic move by Konami who are looking to gain an advantage their rivals EA this year.
The news seems to be planned to coincide with Gamescon, and will see PES 2016 releasing on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 next Thursday, August 13,
The full version of the game will release this Fall on September 15th, giving gamers enough time to play the demo to their hearts’ content and get used to the feel of the game and its various tips and tricks.
Two cover stars have been announced. Besides Barcelona superstar Neymar, PES 2016 also features Juventus striker Alvaro Morata on it’s cover.Morata is dressed in his Champions League attire, which was probably another strategic decision by Konami, who recently extended their partnership with the UEFA for another three years.
It wouldn’t be presumptuous to predict that the demo of this highly anticipated game, which is set to pose a major threat to FIFA ‘16 this year, will find itself on many gamers’ systems next week.
