April 2013 was the last anyone heard about the iconic game from Harmonix, RockBand 3. And everyone assumed that was the last we could hear on the subject of the game. However this streak seems to have ended since the DLC for the popular game has been announced with a new set of songs. The new content of the DLC features songs from the Foo Fighters "Something from Nothing,", : "R U Mine?" by the Arctic Monkeys and "Shepherd of Fire" by Avenged Sevenfold.
As disclosed in a press release by Harmonix, the three featured songs can be played in Rock Band 3 and the rhythm-based Rock Band Blitz. There is no official news that the game will be updated for newer consoles, for now we know for sure that the new content is up for grabs at the cost of $2 USD, £1, or €1.50 per song for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Since fans have waited for long to hear about any new progression of the game we can say that the arrival of this news has certainly thrilled one and all.
