Right then, that is all we have from the third T20I. Series wrapped up for Australia. Two more games to go and Sri Lanka still have plenty to play for there. Do join us back for the remainder of the series. Until then, stay tuned for more cricketing action coming your way on this very space. This has been Dwijesh and myself (Rishab) as we sign off. See yaa soon!
Another tough night for Sri Lanka as they conceded the series with two more games to go. They never really had enough on the board to play with. However, their bowlers put up a good fight to take the game into the 17th over. Theekshana got McDermott on the very first ball and Sri Lanka were in it right-away. They bowled fairly well throughout the game, picking a few wickets as well and they did have the Australian bowlers under some pressure alright. Fair to say, they do have a potent bowling line-up but it was the batting that let them down yet again. A few more runs and this story could have been different.

Australia were in some early trouble losing a couple of quick wickets. However, the experienced duo of Finch and Maxwell put up a key partnership which ensured that they were always ahead in the chase despite being under considerable pressure. Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis then took them through comfortably towards the end.

With that, the hosts have also sealed the series as they continue their dominant run post the T20 World Cup win. They were clinical with the ball today, setting it up nicely to restrict Sri Lanka before the batters came out and scaled down the runs to get them past the line. The bowling will be a positive for Sri Lanka to take-away but they have a lot of work and thinking to do coming to the batting aspect going forward.
Dasun Shanaka: Poor start and we were 20-30 runs short. I think we should bat well in the first six overs and not throw wickets away. Not a lot of positives today.

Aaron Finch: We are trying to get some more information on the depth in the squad. Agar going up was just a strategic thing. We still feel having seven genuine batters is very important. The wickets haven't been really true and it I have just been waiting for the opportunity. They bowled well at certain times. Sams adds a lot to the depth of the team. Richardson is a world class bowler as well and he showed it today.

Kane Richardson, MOM: I wasn't at my best the other night and it was nice to bowl a bit better than that. I was a bit rusty but I just backed myself and it was about hitting the lengths. We are only playing tonight because certain guys are rested but that is a good sign to the team. I am happy to stay around with this group and it is positive
Seven wins in a row for Australia including the T20 World Cup triumph now!
And Stoinis finishes it in style. Australia have dominated once again and they seal the series 3-0 with two more games to go. Easy as you like it towards the end, winning by six wickets!
16.5 Dasun Shanaka to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! Australia win the match and the series! A slower ball bowled short, Stoinis pulls it just over the man at deep midwicket and gets the winning runs! What a performance this has been from Australia with both bat and ball!
16.4 Dasun Shanaka to Marcus Stoinis, a length ball bowled outside off, Stoinis looks to heave it over deep midwicket but misses
Australia are just a hit away from sealing the series now!
16.3 Dasun Shanaka to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! Another length ball from Shanaka but this time Shanaka pulls it into the gap on the legside and gets a boundary to his name. Brilliant shot that
16.2 Dasun Shanaka to Marcus Stoinis, a short ball bowled on middle and off, Stoinis hangs back and pulls it to deep square leg for a couple
16.1 Dasun Shanaka to Josh Inglis, a full ball bowled outside off, Inglis pushes it to sweeper cover for a single
Dasun Shanaka [Right-arm medium] comes into the attack
Chameera may not have picked up a wicket but he has done a phenomenal job with the ball for Sri Lanka tonight. Spot on with his variations, good changes of pace throughout and he's not made it is easy for Australia to put him away. It would all be in vain though as the hosts just need another 9 runs!
15.6 Dushmantha Chameera to Josh Inglis, a length ball bowled outside off, Inglis is happy to dab it down to third-man for a single
15.5 Dushmantha Chameera to Marcus Stoinis, a full ball bowled on the pads, Stoinis plays it onto his pads and towards covers for a single
15.4 Dushmantha Chameera to Marcus Stoinis, a full ball bowled outside off, Stoinis looks to go over the top of mid-off but fails to make contact. Beaten for pace there
15.3 Dushmantha Chameera to Josh Inglis, a wider ball this time around, Inglis throws his bat at it but gets it to fine-leg for a single
