Innings break:
Romania 114/7 (10 Overs), France need 115 runs to win from 10 overs at 11.5 runs per over
This has been a rather sedate final over, despite the boundaries early on. Satheesan, having batted all the way through, completed a half-century on his own, laying hold of the strike throughout the final over. The right-handed opener ensured Romania got to three figures eventually, although judging France's power-packed line-up, 114 might prove to be inadequate, particularly given the wet conditions.
The France spinners did a great job over the course of the middle overs - they ran through the Romania middle order as the rain began pouring along rather hard. Dawood Ahmadzai and 16-year-old Sajad Stanikzay executed their wrist spin with good control, and although Stanikzay went for a few in his second over, Romania still had a lot to do going into the final three. Vashisht provided some impetus along with Satheesan, and now, Romania have something to work with. Back for the chase soon...
