Madhav Kaushik (Meerut Mavericks captain): I am elated and this is a strong statement from us. Chikara is in the form of his life and he makes my job a lot easier. Both spinners are absolute quality and they way they kept the runs in check was superb. Our support staff has been superb. We didn't let ourselves down. We came here with high spirits and happy with the performance.

Swastik Chikara (Player of the Match): Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a great bowler and my plan was to see his opening overs and then take it forward. Our team has been benefited for my knocks and I thank God for my performance.

Nitish Rana (Noida Super Kings captain): The starting was good for us but we were 20 runs short. It was my responsibility but I couldn't get the runs. We could have got hold of the game had we got early wickets but they blazed away in the powerplay. This happens in T20 cricket. You get away from the game, we collapsed big time today. We lost 4 wickets in 3 overs and we need to be aware of these situations. Unluckily we couldn't put up our best performances as I suggested to my players. It is important to come back to winning note. We were in a different position when we came into this game but we have been pushed back after today's game. We have to rectify our mistakes and come back stronger in the next game.

Rinku Singh: It felt great. When we won the toss, we were batting on the previous days but today we had to bowl. The bowlers bowled brilliantly but we won due to the brilliant opening partnership. We work on our weaknesses and keep practising hard.

GAME.SET.MATCH. What seemed to be a tricky chase at the halfway stage has been chased with no fuss, all thanks to a splendid century from Chikara. He was the chief orchestrator in the onslaught as he went after the Noida pacers right from the word go and helped the Mavericks get off to a rollicking start. Once the field got spread, he didn't stop either as the boundaries and sixes came in every over

Siddiqui played second fiddle in the partnership and once he got dismissed, Rinku Singh showcased his incredible hitting prowess to not only let the opposition gain any control in the match. Chikara and Rinku's partnership hurt the bowlers further and they eventually chased the score with 30 balls to spare

It was an incredible batting effort from the Mavericks but the Noida bowlers have to take the blame for being indisciplined at the start and they didn't show any signs of improvement as the game progressed. They had a forgettable day and Chikara didn't show any mercy
