Still, a lot was needed to be done for the Knights as they needed 31 runs from 12 balls. Junaid was just swinging for the fences towards the end and lost his wicket as well. That almost put the game in favor of Oeiras as the new batters in for the Knights just could not find the fences.
Vikas tried to slog the boundaries as it was needed for the Knights and he lost his wicket in the seventh over. However, Junaid was around and he continued to find the boundaries and was making the most of the life he was given.
Vikas took over the aggressive role from Junaid and started to heave away the sixes. Junaid at the other end was hitting the sixes as well and the Knights were hanging around in this contest. The duo went to stitch a 63 run partnership.
The scoring rate for the Knights took a dip for the second and third over of the powerplay. In those overs, they also lost the wicket of their other opener Winter. Junaid came in next and alongside Vikas he started to build a partnership out in the middle.
Coming in to chase a huge total of 131 runs, they lost the wicket of Tariq in the first over itself due to hesitation while stealing a couple. Winter and Vikas were out in the middle, they did find a boundary each but it was still tall ask for the Knights.
A comfortable victory for Oeiras as in the last two overs, they manage to hold on to their nerves. For the Knights, the last two overs were quite expensive for them with the ball, and that probably came back to bite them towards the end here.
