That was what was in store for this game of the ECS T10 Barcelona. An absolute cracker that went until the penultimate delivery. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this thrilling contest. As my partner Maanas Upadhyay and I, Sooryanarayanan Sesha, run off to catch our breath, we hope you do too. Do stick around though as the cricketing action continues across the globe. Bye for now!
What a game we have witnessed! The ebbs and flows, the twists and turns - you had to see it to believe it! The Barna Royals' decision to bat first didn't work out after all after a pretty average batting effort coupled with some outstanding bowling from the Ripoll Warriors. Prince Dhiman and Aamir Shahzad started proceedings with tight spells and a wicket each against their name, but it was Aqtadar Iqbal Khan who was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2-0-12-3. Just when it seemed like the Royals would struggle to get to even 60, out came Syed Gulraiz-Hussain and Taqqi Ul Mazhar with some lusty blows to propel them to a competitive score of 78/7.

In reply, the Warriors took a positive approach despite the loss of Prince Dhiman early on in their chase. But this was one match that just pulled a twist out of nowhere at regular intervals. It was Shafat Ali Syed's turn to have a say in the game as he chipped in with three wickets. Hamza Azhar wasn't too far behind as he was on a hat-trick and with the score reading 51-6 with 15 deliveries to spare, the odds were clearly in favour of the Royals to seal the game!

But then entered another protagonist of this thrilling ensemble - Deepak Rana. Two sixes and a four off his first three balls brought down the equation to 12 off the last two overs. The game went down to the final over and thoughts of the Golden Ball crept in before a wide and a fumble from the keeper was followed by a four off the penultimate ball to seal what was a nerve-wracking three-wicket win for the Ripoll Warriors. Its been a good day for them with back-to-back victories putting them in the 2nd position in Group B, while it was quite the exact opposite for the Barna Royals. They slide down to the 3rd position after two consecutive losses.
Deepak Rana holding his nerve and getting the Warriors across the line! How costly that fumble from the keeper has proved to be. An extra run in hand with a new batsman at the crease could have turned the tables yet again. But eventually it is the Ripoll Warriors who will smile after a thrilling 3-wicket victory
9.5 Sufyan Anwar to Deepak Rana, FOUR! EDGED! Length ball outside off, Rana goes hard on drive but does so in the wrong line. Gets the outside edge that runs away to the fence past the short third man fielder! What a win for the Ripoll Warriors! They beat the Barna Royals by 3 wickets with just a delivery to spare!
Golden Ball fans in the house?
9.4 Sufyan Anwar to Deepak Rana, length ball on the middle stump, Rana whips that towards deep mid-wicket for a single. The batsmen returned for the second and some better work from the keeper could have sent him back!
9.3 Sufyan Anwar to Aqtadar Khan, full ball on the off stump angling away, Khan drags that towards deep mid-wicket for a single. 3 runs off 3 balls now!
9.2 Sufyan Anwar to Deepak Rana, DROPPED! Has he dripped the game there! Length ball on the middle stump, Rana looks to heave it but gets the thick outside edge that flies in the air. The fielder at point drops an absolute dolly!
9.2 Sufyan Anwar to Deepak Rana, oh dear! Loses his radar as he slides one well outside off. Some more exercise for the umpire
9.1 Sufyan Anwar to Deepak Rana, no run, back of a length ball outside off, Rana looks to run it down to third man but cannot get it any bat on ball. 6 runs off 5 balls now!
This is getting closer than anticipated! The Warriors are just one big hit away from closing out this game and it is the set man Deepak Rana who will be on strike. Sufyan Anwar has been entrusted with the final over
