Daniel Ricciardo finishes P9 but with a 10-place penalty he'll go down to P19.

Despite matching Rosberg's times in sector 2, Hamilton was too slow in the third sector and misses out by eight hundredths of a second!

Bottas' compatriot and shunt victim and perpetrator Kimi Raikkonen's in P4, followed by young Max Verstappen.

A mix of usual and unusual for the top 5 today - Mercedes 1-2 for now in Q1, with Williams' Valtteri Bottas going P3.

Lewis Hamilton has never won at the Brazilian Grand Prix - could he take pole and break the jinx tomorrow? He currently leads, followed by Rosberg.
