The Indian men’s doubles pairing of Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy, who reached the finals of the US Open last week, progressed through to the second round of the Canada Open after defeating Adrian Liu and Derrick Ng of Canada 21-12 15-21 21-12 in the opening round.

Tanvi Lad moved into the second round of the 2015 Canada Open after beating Jamie Subhandi of the United States 21-11 21-14 in 28 minutes in the opening round of the competition.

India’s Ajay Jayaram moved into the third round of the 2015 Canada Open with a straight games 21-15 21-16 win over Huang Yuxiang of China in 34 minutes in the second round.
