Conor McGregor holds a UFC record of 10-4. The Irishman is currently on a two-fight losing skid, the longest of his UFC career.

Both of his recent losses came against Dustin Poirier last year. The former UFC double champion first lost to 'The Diamond' at UFC 257 in January 2021 and suffered another defeat to the American six months later at UFC 264.

UFC 257 also marked the first knockout loss of McGregor's professional MMA career.

Dustin Poirier exacted his revenge at UFC 257, seven years after their initial meeting back in 2014, which Conor McGregor won via first-round knockout. With their rivalry tied at 1-1, they squared off in a rubber match at UFC 264 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

McGregor sustained a leg injury towards the end of the first round and the on-duty doctor called a halt to the action before the second frame.

Since his second loss to Poirier, McGregor has been rehabilitating his leg injury and looks to be on the cusp of making his much-awaited return to the famed octagon. UFC president Dana White recently confirmed that the former two-division champion will return in 2023.

What is Conor McGregor's longest winning streak in the UFC?

Conor McGregor's longest win streak in the UFC comprises seven victories on the bounce, which he racked up between 2013 and 2015. Six of those wins came via knockouts.

After signing with the UFC in 2013, the Irishman beat Marcus Brimage, Max Holloway, Diego Brandao, Dustin Poirier and Dennis Siver to earn a shot at UFC gold. He defeated Chad Mendes to win the interim featherweight title and subsequently knocked out long-time champion Jose Aldo to become the undisputed 145-pound titleholder.

At UFC 196, Nate Diaz became the first fighter to defeat McGregor in the UFC, breaking his unbeaten run. After facing early adversity from McGregor on the feet in the opening frame, Diaz came back strong in the second round and finished the Dubliner via a rear-naked choke.

McGregor went on to defeat Diaz in a rematch just five months later, winning via majority decision.
