Allen Lazard, a wide receiver for the New York Jets, was born on December 11, 1995. He went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft; later he was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, playing on the practice team. In the same season, he was signed by the Green Bay Packers, playing on the practice team and later promoted to the active roster. After playing for five seasons, he signed a four-year contract with the New York Jets in March 2023. In seven seasons with the NFL, Lazard played in 78 games, starting 59, recording 222 receptions for 2,959 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns as of December 6, 2024.

A three-time All-State selection, Lazard attended Urbandale High School and was named to the USA Today All-American team. He was also named the Des Moines Register's Offensive Player of the Year in 2013 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2012. He was a highly rated recruit coming out of high school and joined Iowa State University from 2014 to 2017. In his four seasons of college, he played in 48 games, recording 241 receptions for 3,360 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns.
