Andrew Armstrong is a collegiate football wide receiver who formerly represented the University of Arkansas from 2023-2024. Previously, he played at Texas A&M–Commerce. He is a Dallas, Texas, native and attended Bishop Dunne Catholic School. Armstrong played for the Texas A&M–Commerce Lions football program from 2019 to 2022. He redshirted in 2019 and did not play due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In 2021, he played 10 games and accumulated 15 receptions for 297 yards and three touchdowns. His breakout year was in 2022. He caught 62 passes for 1,020 yards and 13 touchdowns in 11 games. He was named First-Team All-Southland Conference and to the HERO Sports Sophomore All-American team for the year.

In 2023, Armstrong transferred to the Arkansas Razorbacks and played until the 2024 season. During his first season, he led the team with 56 receptions for 764 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games, as per Sports Reference. He was named to Phil Steele’s Fourth-Team All-SEC. In 2024, he led the SEC with 78 receptions for 1,140 yards and added a touchdown. He was a First-Team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press and Phil Steele in 2024, according to Arkansas Razorbacks' official website. On December 4, 2024, Armstrong declared for the 2025 NFL Draft through his Instagram account (@drew.bandz). At the NFL Scouting Combine, his Next Gen Stats score of 69 ranked 32nd overall among the wide receivers, according to NFL's official website.

As of April 2025, Andrew Armstrong has signed multiple NIL deals. He first partnered with the Arkansas Edge collective in 2023, the official NIL collective for student-athletes at the University of Arkansas, and continued that partnership with additional agreements in May 2024. In July 2024, Armstrong also partnered with Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux, a restaurant chain known for supporting collegiate athletes. Additionally, he collaborated with Nike to launch an official Arkansas Razorbacks NIL jersey featuring his name and number, available through Rally House. (via On3's official website)
