According to many reports, the Indiana native looked unblockable for three days at the Reese’s senior bowl. His blend of strength and athleticism is considered by many to be an ideal fit for a 3-tech DT scheme.

Even after transferring to FSU and playing in a Power Five conference, his numbers did not take a hit. He amassed 43 tackles, nine tackles for loss and six sacks, leading to a second-team All-ACC selection and third team All-American selection in 2023. He was a fourth rounder on the consensus board in January but post combine, his numbers took a jump and he is now seen as a top 50 pick in the draft by many analysts.
