Bijan Robinson is a professional American Football running back for the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League. Robinson was drafted in the 2023 NFL draft and was the eighth pick in the first round for the Falcons. Robinson had his debut against the Carolina Panthers where he received his first touchdown and had six receptions for twenty-seven yards. As a rookie, he started in 16 of the games and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
While at Salpointe Catholic High School he set a state record after rushing for 7,036 yards and having 114 touchdowns. As a senior, he was also named the Arizona Gatorade Football Player of the Year and was even called to play in the 2020 All-American Bowl. For his college football career, Robinson decided to commit to the University of Texas at Austin. He finished his freshman season with four rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns. In the 2021 season, he was named a member of the All Big-12 Conference first team. The following season, he won the Doak Walker Award for the nation's best running back.
