Mar’Keise “Bucky” Irving, simply known as Bucky Irving, is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him with the 125th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Standing at 5 feet 10 inches and weighing around 194 pounds, Irving was born in Chicago, Illinois and as of October 2024, he is 22 years old. Before making his debut in college football, Irving laid the foundation of his football journey at Hillcrest High School, where he played high school football. Irving has a decent start to his rookie campaign as he has already accumulated 328 rushing yards through the first six weeks of the 2024 NFL season.

Irving initially enrolled at the University of Minnesota and played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers during the 2021 season. However, after the season, he transferred to the University of Oregon, committing to playing college football for the Oregon Ducks.

In the 2021 season at Minnesota, Irving participated in 12 games, recording 699 rushing yards and securing four touchdowns.

After transferring to Oregon, during the 2022 season, he played in 13 games, amassing over 1,000 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Additionally, he recorded 299 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

After his collegiate career in the 2023 season at Oregon, once again, he surpassed the 1,000-yard mark, recording 1,180 rushing yards while securing 11 touchdowns. His exceptional performance throughout the season earned him a well-deserved spot on the Second-team All-Pac.
